"Since i joined the club my mental health has been a lot better and i can go out with confidence and know when i attend the clubhouse i will not be judged".

set up my own Facebook page in 2021, driven with pride scotland , as I have always been interested in cars, vans and trucks with myself, family and friends looking forward to show season attending Ayrshire, truckmania, truckfest and Dumfries Motor Show. Not long after setting up the group late 2021 I had to give up my job due to workplace bullying. This then in turn had a big impact on my health and wellbeing. I had to reach out for help and support but there wasn't a lot of services around. Through my link worker she pointed me to a walking and wellbeing group which I now attend on a Friday. I then received an invitation from a friend to tell me about the Mental Haggis Clan , so I plucked up the courage to go over and see what it was about. It was the best thing I have done it's been great for myself and my family. It's been great to be able to talk to the other members and the group leaders. I signed up for a membership then my wife did too. This group has given me something to refocus on and I love the fact that it is family friendly with the kids being able to have some fun and make new friends it has been great to get out and socialise again meeting other members who have similar interests at the events held like the breakfast meets but also through the free chat sessions and at the clubhouse.

Remember it is okay not to be okay reach out for help as only you can do it

Happy to.support and promote this group keep up the good work.
